KeepAlive® Pure Oxygen Infusion Systems

ALWAYS FOLLOW GOOD SAFETY PRACTICES WHEN USING OXYGEN!

Pure Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Build-up

When using pure oxygen, remember that the carbon dioxide given off by fish will not dissipate unless some form of aeration occurs within the tank. As carbon dioxide builds up in the water, fish lose the ability to absorb oxygen and may suffocate. For more information see www.aquaticeco.com/aquatic1v1/itm_pdf_tech/remov_co2.htm and

KA901 Regulator
Weight: 1.61 lbs

The FISH-FLO2 is the only known regulator specifically designed for use in a harsh marine environment! With technical assistance from  Mr. Gene Gilliland of the Oklahoma Fishery Research Lab and KeepAlive, Inc.,  and manufacturing expertise by American Healthcare Inc., the FISH-FLO2 Marine Regulator was born.

Mr. Gene Gilliland coauthored the booklet Keeping Bass Alive, with Professor Hal Schramm of Mississippi State University, and Mr. Bruce Shupp, B.A.S.S. National Conservation Director.

Nickel Plated Brass  with special internal components. Designed for use in a marine environment.

11 Settings: OFF, 1/32, 1/16, , 1/4, ½, ¾, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 liters per minute. These settings will allow various oxygen ratios with inexpensive air stones. The KA901 also provides sufficient pressure and oxygen for premium quality diffusers as our KA975 and KA9100 diffuser. At it's largest setting, the KA975 will consume 3/4 liters per minute.

Nut and Nipple style regulator body for use with CGA 540 Inlet Valve Cylinders.

Oxygen tank pressure gauge with gauge protector. Barbed Outlet for direct attachment of oxygen tubing.

Designed for use in a marine environment.
Warning: Not for medical use.

DIFFUSER DELIVERY SYSTEM

One of the simplest ways to dissolve oxygen in water is to introduce the oxygen as small bubbles. The smaller the bubbles the more efficient the absorption of oxygen.

KA975 Diffuser

The KA975 microbubble oxygen diffuser produces a cloud of extremely fine bubbles - 100 to 500 microns. This is much finer than graphite or carborundum diffusers, or porous hose, and because the diffuser is flat, the bubbles do not coalesce as with circular section diffusers.

The KA975 diffuser uses an ultra fine pore ceramic plate which ensures uniform bubbles across its entire surface. The ceramic is a clean and inert material.

The KA975 diffuser requires a regulator with a minimum of 25-35 lbs of output pressure.

KA975 Diffuser
For most applications up to 300 lbs. of fish.
KA9100 Diffuser

KeepAlive Diffusers  are the finest quality in the industry, and are manufactured for KeepAlive by Point Four. A quality diffuser is extremely important. Any lesser quality diffuser will produce larger bubbles and consume more oxygen.

Features and Benefits

  • The KA975 and KA9100 are the most efficient diffusers on the market. They use less gas and requires fewer diffusers to achieve the same results.

  • Robust construction. The ceramic plate is set in a rigid enamel coated aluminum frame and will not break if frozen.

  • Easy to install and simple to operate. It requires no power or complex attachment procedures.

  • Warranty - 2 years covering defective materials and workmanship.

Bubbling pressure

25 to 35 psi. (1.7 to 2.4 bar)

Absorption efficiency

Largely depends on submerged depth (or operating pressure), typically 40% to 50% at 1m depth; can be as high as 80% or even 100% at depths of 6m or more (also depends on flow rate).

FLEXIBLE TRANS-FILLS

Trans-fills with safety features cannot be stressed enough.
Keep
SAFETY  first when filling your own cylinders!
KeepAlive Transfills are the SAFEST trans-fills available for anglers.

NOT RECOMMENDED

A rigid trans-fill has inherent deficiencies and should not be used!

  • Filling a cylinder with a rigid trans-fill can be hazardous! Stress due to the weight of a cylinder on the trans-fill and associated connections may separate and result in serious injuries.

  • Most rigid trans-fills do not have a slow filling orifice, Cylinders can overheat to dangerous levels and cylinders may be damaged.

Get the edge in tournament competition. Use KeepAlive  technology!

KeepAlive now gives you the ability to convert your system into a KeepAlive Pure Oxygen Infusion System to maximize the amount of fish that can be transported safely in a minimum amount of water.

If oxygen is one of your requirements, KeepAlive will disperse oxygen quicker any other oxygen delivery system such as diffusers and air stones.

KeepAlive disperses smaller micro bubbles quicker than any other method, and provides a water current for schooling of fish. Water speed is adjustable for each species.

KeepAlive Infusors allow for a full range of adjustable air to oxygen mixtures to provide safety, a long lasting oxygen supply, and back up. Pure oxygen is used to enrich the air, when keeping large amounts of fish in hot weather and warm water. Adjusting the air-to-oxygen ratio will keep your tournament fish and bait healthy and lively, yet keeping unwanted high oxygen levels at the top of an enclosed container to a minimum. When pure oxygen is not required, or your oxygen cylinder becomes empty, your KeepAlive system will continue to operate and keep your fish aerated and healthy during tournaments and fishing trips.
